Background
There are many different third-party software codecs, also known simply as "soft codecs," available today. These allow for audio and audio-video distance conferencing to occur through a web interface, downloadable software application, or some combination of these. Devio is designed to interface with any soft codec to provide processing and transmission of both near- and far-end audio, as well as local duplication and extension of monitor displays.
