LAN/Serial Sequence - Power on command

This sequence is (normally) always executed when the control system is off and any source key is pressed. Or you can use it as a normal On button.

RS232/RS485 byte delay: If you need a delay between each byte sent on the RS232/RS485 port you can specify that here. This setting will take effect for only this sequence. If you need the delay for all the sequences  you can specify it in the settings for RS232/RS485. This is only an option for devices from version 2.00.

Normally you do not need to assign this sequence to any buttons, due to the fact that when you press a key with a source sequence on, the control system will automatically execute the power on sequence before executing the source sequence.
The advantage of this is that only the first time you press a source key (and the device has been turned off with the off sequence) the power on sequence will be executed.

Control sequences can be assigned to a subkey on your control system, which is not possible for a source sequence.
Control sequences cannot be activated when the panel is off (as standard).
Control sequences are intended to be used for functions like: Play, Pause, Stop, Forward etc.

Item Description
The time between commands... Defines the time between sending the first command and the second command. If the second command are not in use, this time is discharged.
The warm up time... The time from sending the last command in this sequence until the device is ready to change source.
Please note that setting this time too low can prevent the source sequence from working as intended.
The time for the device when ready... The time from sending the last command in this sequence until the device is ready to power off again.
Please note that setting this time too low can prevent the "power off" sequence from working as intended.

The sequence has the following function:

When key is pressed:

  1. The LED on the button start flashing.
  2. First power on command is sent.
  3. Wait "Time between commands..." (if second command is available).
  4. Second power off command is sent. (If available).
  5. Wait "The warm up time...".
  6. The LED stop flashing.

When key is released again:

  1. Nothing.
