Sequences - General
Your device is controlled using one of many sequences in the Biamp software. Different types of sequences give you different options, but in general a sequence contains all the information (commands and timings) to change your device to a particular predefined state.
If you need to change the source of your device, you have to create a “Source” sequence. A source sequence consists of commands (transmitted via RS-232, IR or LAN) and different times/delays.
The core idea behind this combination of commands and times, is that once they have been executed by the control system, your device will be ready to accept the next sequence. The system accounts for all aspects of order and timing. Once the sequences are complete, you don’t have to worry about it again.
