Connecting iOS devices to Biamp Impera Tango, Alfa II and Apprimo Touch 8i control systems

If you desire to control an Impera Tango, Alfa II or Apprimo Touch 8i from an iPhone or iPad, this is actually possible, and could bring further flexibility and convenience to the overall experience.
For a connection to be possible between the Biamp control system and the iOS device, the control system and the iOS device needs to be on the same network.
Simply enter the IP address of the control system in the Safari web browser on the iOS device.
If the interface does not connect, this is because Apple is rapidly developing the iOS eco system, and some functions is also changeling from one releases to another. This means that you need to enable NSURLSession WebSocket for Safari to be able to connect.
To enable the function in Safari follow these 3 steps.
Go to settings, and locate Safari and scroll down to select the Advanced button.

Under Advanced select Experimental Features.

Scroll down to NSURLSession WebSocket and enable this function.

You will now be able to connect to the control interface of Impera and Apprimo by entering the IP address in Safari.
