Workplace User Roles Overview

This article covers the end-user and five administrative roles used in Biamp Workspace, as well as how the admin roles can be stacked on the end-user role to grant granular levels of management and monitoring rights.

The stacking user roles scheme

Every user is automatically assigned the Workplace User role for creating and editing their user account, as well as access to the Booking app user functions. Additional roles can be stacked on top of the Workplace User roles, granting limited access and rights to portions of the admin portal and administrative apps.

A stacking example

Adding a user to an organization automatically assigns them the Workplace User role. Also assigning the user the Command Admin role will also grant them the ability to configure settings for the Command app in the organization, as well as use the app to control Tesira devices.
