Kleeo Provisioning Flow

This article covers the complete setup flow for a system based on Biamp Workplace and Kleeo Desk Manager. This includes everything from creating a Biamp Workplace account, to building the organization structure, to provisioning and pairing each Kleeo device.

 

Requirements 

Before starting, ensure the following: 

  • A Biamp Workplace account with Org Admin or Owner role.   

  • At least one Desk Location defined in your organization (in addition to locations: site, building, floor).   

  • A Wi-Fi network (SSID + password) with Internet access 

  • An NFC-enabled smartphone with the Biamp Booking app installed.   

  • Physical presence at the Kleeo device (you’ll need to tap the phone onto the device for provisioning). 

 

 

Biamp Workplace Organization & Desk Setup 

Before provisioning Kleeo devices, your Biamp Workplace must have valid organization structure and desk resources: 

  1. If not yet done, create a Biamp Workplace account and sign in.   

  1. Create a new Organization (or use an existing one).   

  1. Add the location hierarchy: Site → Building → Floor as needed.   

  1. Define Desk Location (for collaboration spaces, etc.).   

Once the desk is defined, you’re ready to provision the Kleeo device. 

 

 

Provisioning and Connecting Kleeo Devices 

Overview 

Each Kleeo device must be assigned to one specific Desk in Biamp Workplace. 

Provisioning is done via the Biamp Booking mobile app and requires physical presence (for NFC handshake) at the device. 

 Provisioning procedure

  1. Power on the Keeo — connect it via USB-C via optional AC adapter. 

  1. Open the Biamp Booking app on your smartphone and log in with your admin/owner account.   

  1. From the booking calendar screen, tap the profile icon (top-right).   

  1. In the profile menu, go to My Profile → Device Setup.   

  1. On the “Select Device” screen, choose “Kleeo Desk Manager”.   

  1. Enter the SSID and password to connect to the local network and therefore to the Internet.  

  1. On the “Select Resource” screen, choose the Desk that this Kleeo will manage.   

  1. On the “Activate Device” screen, when prompted, tap your phone to the Kleeo device — this establishes the provisioning via NFC.   

  1. Hold your phone close to the top of the Kleeo to complete the NFC pairing. 

  1. Once connected to the internet, the Kleeo will download any available firmware updates and reboot automatically if needed.   

  1. At completion, the Kleeo display will show the Desk Name   

  1. The device will appear in Biamp Workplace under Management & Monitoring → Devices list for the assigned Desk.  

 

The Kleeo is now ready for booking!
