Assigning Licenses to Locations in Organizations

Viewing available licenses
Licenses that have been purchased and successfully assigned to an organization are visible under the License tab in the Biamp Workplace administrative portal.
Assigning available licenses to locations
Licenses are assigned under the Locations tab in the Biamp Workplace admin portal. To assign a license to a location:
1. Navigate to the location you wish to assign a license to under the Locations pane in the Workplace admin portal.
Here, we have selected the Manufacturing Plant's Office Floor location in the Locations pane.
2. Click on the pencil Edit icon to open an editing form.
In this example, we will be editing the Office Floor location to add a license.
Note: You can also select your intended location in the center pane if you've selected the top-level location above it in the Locations pane on the left of the page.
In this example, the Office floor is also selected for editing to add a location license.
3. Before assigning a license, make sure you have opened the correct location by verifying the location name at the top of the form.
4. Click on the dropdown in the License field to show a selectable list with all available licenses that can be assigned to the location.
- Note: You may need to scroll down the form to find the Licenses field.
5. Select the appropriate license for the location and then click the Assign button.
- Reminder: Please see the Workplace Licenses Overview article if you have any questions about which type of license to assign to a location. Only one license is required per Workplace location.
A license assigned message will appear to indicate a successful assignment.
