  • Role-Based Access Control: Assign multiple roles per user for flexible, precise permissions—from full organization control to view-only access. Maintain security while enabling team collaboration. 

  • Location Device Lists: View all associated devices for any location with sortable lists and detailed device information. Streamline device management and troubleshooting. 

Updates 

  • Redesigned Navigation: Access Workplace apps faster with an improved sidebar featuring light/dark mode, streamlined app access, user initials, organization ID, and quick organization switching for seamless workflow transitions. 

  • Enhanced Calendar Integration: Improved error handling for Microsoft calendar synchronization with support for term and NAK (negative acknowledgment) delay functionality. Calendar sync now uses shared cursor logic for faster colleague listing. 

  • Enhanced Overview Screen: Updated floor plan view with new desk icons and improved visual hierarchy for clearer scheduling and better space visibility at a glance. 

  • Intelligent Sorting & Filtering: Locations now sorted alphanumerically and device status indicators properly distinguish severity levels for faster issue prioritization. 

  • System Reliability: Automatic data cleanup reduces storage overhead, improved table UI with better row color display and selection handling, and comprehensive style updates to map view and plan editor for a polished user experience. 

Resolved Issues 

  • Device Performance: Fixed recursive child fetching for plan devices that was causing significant performance degradation. 

  • Device Visibility: Resolved issue where desks were not appearing in the overview screen. 

  • Data Accuracy: Filtered out canceled bookings from queries and data loaders to ensure accurate booking information and calendar displays. 

  • System Stability: Fixed missing service configurations in overview and calendar data retention features; updated build process for improved system compatibility. 

  • User Management: Corrected permission handling for newly activated users and improved email invitation workflows. 

  • UI Polish: Resolved table selection bugs, improved row color display, and refined organization selector and drawer styling for better usability. 

Known Issues 

  • Rare Device Boot Issue: In rare cases, updating a device's firmware may result in incomplete boot after the update. If this occurs, power-cycle the device to complete the update and restore normal operation with the latest firmware.

Enhanced Identification Options 

  • User PIN Codes: Implement individual PIN codes for user identification and streamlined access 
  • Organization PIN Code: Set a single PIN code across your organization for simplified identification 

Meeting Management Improvements 

  • Default Meeting Length Settings: Choose between 15, 30, or 45 minutes as your default meeting duration 
  • Automatic Meeting Links: Enable automatic creation of meeting links for Teams and Google online meetings 
  • Check-in Controls: Toggle the check-in requirement on or off based on your organization's needs 

Naso Device Enhancements

    • Use Now, Book Later - Simply sit down and work—Kleeo handles the booking automatically 
    • Smart Presence Recognition - After just 2 minutes of detected activity, the system creates a reservation without any user intervention 
    • Dynamic Booking Extension - Your desk stays reserved with a rolling 10-minute booking that continues as long as you're present 
  • Smart Desk Awareness  
    • "Book Now" Prompt - Kleeo now intuitively recognizes when someone sits down and offers a friendly booking reminder, eliminating the need to search for desk names 
    • Personalized Display - Desk screens now prominently showcase the booker's name in both check-in and idle states, transforming how colleagues locate each other in flexible environments 

Getting Started 

To access these new settings: 

  1. Log in to workplace.biamp.app 
  2. Navigate to the Settings section 
  3. Select the appropriate category for the setting you wish to configure 
  4. Save your changes

Known Issues 

When executing a Launch operation with a Tesira Forte X or Devio SCX device using the Biamp Workplace GUI, the Launch Report Cards displayed afterwards in the Biamp Workplace GUI can be from an old, previously executed Generate Report Cards operation initiated via the device's local web GUI. 

Workaround: Reboot the Tesira Forte X or Devio SCX device before initiating a Launch operation via the Biamp Workplace GUI.
