3 - Provisioning the Kleeo devices for Zoom

Each Kleeo device must be assigned to a one desk location in the Zoom-managed hierarchy that was imported into Biamp Workplace. Discover and assign the Kleeo devices using the Biamp Booking App on an NFC-enabled smartphone.

This is an on-site procedure: The person performing this procedure must be onsite where  the Kleeo devices are installed. The NFC handshake requires physical contact with each Kleeo.

Reminder, do not assign Kleeo devices to desk locations manually created in Biamp Workplace. If a Kleeo has been assigned to a manually created desk location in a Biamp Workplace organization (lacking the Zoom-manged tag), it will not sync with Zoom. If this happened, reset the Kleeo and then assign it to a Zoom-managed desk location.

Note: Resetting a provisioned Kleeo

A discovered and assigned Kleeo can be reset at any time to make it available for a new provisioning. Use a pin inserted into the dedicated hole, accessible after removing the desktop mounting bracket. Press and hold the pin until the LED blinks red twice. This clears the existing configuration and provisioning, however, it does not alter the Location configuration in Biamp Workplace.

Provisioning procedure

1.  Power on the Kleeo by connecting it to a power source via USB-C.

  • The Kleeo boots with a white light around the edge.
  • When booted up, the display cycles the messages "Download APP" and "Tap phone to connect".

8. Verify the provisioning is complete in both platform consoles.

  • Biamp Workplace: The Kleeo device should be present in the Biamp Workplace admin web portal under the organization console. Go to the Management & Monitoring page, then select Devices under the assigned desk location.
  • Zoom Workplace: The Kleeo device should be present in the Zoom Web Portal under Device Management on the Device List, as reported by the Biamp app.

Repeat for every Kleeo

Once all the devices have been assigned to their Zoom-manged desks, the setup is complete.

Each Kleeo will show two alternating messages on their display screens:

  • The desk name
  • A message to "Scan QR code to book", and QR code
    • The QR code is generated from Zoom

The LED border indicator surrounding screen will glow green.

The display screen contents and green LED indicator confirm that the desk is now live. If the QR code does not appear, go back to the setup warnings check at the end of Step 2 - Adding the Biamp OAuth App and Connecting the Platforms.
