Ending the Zoom - Biamp Workplace Integration
Disconnecting and reconnecting is controlled exclusively from Zoom. Biamp Workplace cannot initiate or autonomously restore the connection.
Do you want to keep the Zoom-imported locations in Biamp Workplace?
Prior to breaking the integration, decide if you wish to keep the Zoom-managed locations in Biamp Workplace and also keep the Kleeo devices assigned to their current organization locations. Otherwise removing the integration will delete the Zoom-managed locations in the Biamp Workplace organization and move the Kleeo devices to unassigned location status.
How to keep the Zoom imported locations
1. In the Biamp Workplace Admin Web Portal, select the organization with the Zoom-managed devices. This opens the organization's console.
2. Go the organization Settings by selecting the gear icon in the navigation pannel.
3. Scroll down to the Zoom Workspace settings.
4. Check the box for "Keep Zoom locations if the Zoom app is uninstalled."
Removing the integration
1. Uninstall the OAuth app in Zoom App Marketplace.
- Open the Biamp app page or Marketplace page. Then open "My Library" and click "Remove".
2. Revoke the OAuth authorization.
- In the Zoom Web Portal go to the Admin page
- Select Advanced,
- Ten select App Marketplace.
- Locate the Biamp app in the Marketplace and revoke its authorization.
What happens after disconnection
- Synchronization stops immediately. Webhooks from Zoom are no longer processed.
- Zoom-managed Locations in Biamp Workplace are converted to Biamp Workplace locations; no Zoom links are retained.
- Kleeo devices remain provisioned and registered, but Zoom-based booking functionality is no longer available.
- All Zoom ID associations and related audit logs are deleted.
- All Zoom booking data is deleted.
- Biamp Workplace-managed Locations and their configurations are not affected.
Re-establishing the integration
Perform the following steps to reconnect two platforms after a disconnection.
1. Add the Biamp OAuth app again from its page on the Zoom App Marketplace
2. Complete the subsequent tasks described in the Adding the Biamp OAuth App and Connecting the Platforms article.
The Zoom hierarchy will automatically recreate itself in Biamp Workplace.
Migrating devices back to the Zoom hierarchy
Migrating from inside Zoom Workplace
Kleeo devices in Zoom with the same serial number as those in a Biamp Workplace organization can be migrated into the new Zoom-managed hierarchy by clicking "Migrate devices" in a popup window during re-authentication of the organization.
Migrating from inside Biamp Workplace
If the Migrate devices popup window is dismissed, the devices can be migrated later from inside the Biamp Workplace web admin portal.
1. Go to the Biamp Workplace organization console in the admin web portal.
2. Go to the Organization settings page in the console.
Note: The migration of devices can only happen once.
