Common Errors with Evoko Naso

This article explains how to resolve common error messages encountered on the Evoko Naso.

 

Connectivity errors

No link

This error can occur if the Evoko Naso cannot establish a connection to the local network.

  1. Ensure that the network switch is not blocking access to the Naso (e.g., MAC address filtering, 802.1X authentication).
  2. Ensure that the network switch is correctly negotiating the Naso's network speed (10/100Mbps).
  3. Power cycle the Evoko Naso.

No internet

This error can occur if the Evoko Naso can establish a connection to the local network, but not to the Internet.

  1. Ensure that the network switch can establish an Internet connection.
  2. Ensure that the network firewall is not blocking traffic from the Naso on Port 443 (HTTPS).
  3. Power cycle the Evoko Naso.

Cannot connect to backend

This error can occur if the Evoko Naso can establish a connection to the Internet, but not to Biamp Workplace.

  1. Ensure that Biamp Workplace (workplace.biamp.app) is accessible from another device on the network.
  2. Ensure that the network firewall is not blocking traffic from the Naso to Biamp Workplace .
  3. Power cycle the Evoko Naso.
