Connecting Naso to Biamp Workplace
This article explains how to connect Evoko Naso to your Biamp Workplace organization and assign it to a Room.
Prerequisites
In addition to a Biamp Workplace organization with one or more Rooms, you will also need:
- An active Biamp Workplace account with an Org Admin or Owner role within the organization
- An NFC-enabled smartphone with the Biamp Workplace Booking mobile app installed on it
- A network infrastructure that allows the Naso to connect to the Internet; this can be:
- A password-protected Internet-connected wireless network that the Naso can access
- An Internet-connected PoE connection to the Naso
- A laptop (optional, but recommended for verifying that the Naso was successfully added)
Because setting up the Naso requires NFC communication, you will need to be physically present at the Naso that you are adding.
Adding and Connecting
- Plug in the Naso if it is not already powered. The Naso can be powered via PoE or an optional AC adaptor. The Naso will boot to the Setup screen.
- Open the Biamp Workplace app on your smartphone, sign into your account, and select your organization.
