There are three sections to this screen:

  • Device information -  This reports the current status of the microphone you are connected to
  • Control - containing 3 buttons: one to send a project, one o reboot the microphone, and one to perform a software factory reset.
  • Firmware - The Biamp BMA configuration software will show a list of available firmware.  The firmware listed here is for the mic array. Dante has its own firmware.

Changing the IP or name of your BMA 360D

To Change the control IP address of your BMA 360D, use the top ribbon across the software and the icon for devices. Note that this icon is visible on every screen in the software.

  • Current device name
  • Firmware version
  • Serial number
  • Control IP/MAC information
  • Dante IP/MAC information
  • PoE Status: This will report the PoE required by the microphone depending on whether or not the built-in amplifier is in use.

The three functions available here perform the following:

  • Sending an existing project file to the BMA 360D: beam settings, filtering, and other custom settings.
  • Reboot the microphone, this retains settings.
  • Perform a factory reset of the microphone.

Firmware

This section of the Admin screen displays available firmware updates. A filter checkbox allows you to hide older versions. The "Select Firmware File" button enables users to manually upload firmware to the software and make it available for deployment to the mic array. Once firmware is loaded into the software (either through automatic downloads or manual upload), a list will appear with a "Send" button that allows you to update the microphone.
