EasyConnect MPX 250 overview
Overview
The EasyConnect MPX 250 is an all-in-one connectivity hub designed to simplify A/V integration in meeting rooms and collaboration environments. It supports dual displays, provides internet sharing to connected devices, offers integrated charging, and includes cable management features. Additionally, it enables control of connected meeting room equipment for a streamlined user experience.

Elements in the system
MPX 250

MPX 250 is the primary unit in the setup, offering centralized connections for room peripherals, including displays, USB devices, audio systems, and network infrastructure. It supports connections to MPX 250 DC and MPX 250 EXT modules for extended deployment scenarios.
Table Controller

A compact touch-enabled control interface designed for table-top installation. It allows users to connect up to 4 laptops or devices via USB-C, also providing charging and optional internet connectivity. The device connects directly to the MPX 250 system via USB and requires no additional configuration or external power supply.
Table Mounting System

An installation kit designed to secure the EasyConnect MPX 250 series devices to meeting room tables. It includes a cable management bag and mounting accessories that allow all connected cables to be neatly routed and concealed underneath the table surface. This ensures a clean, professional appearance while protecting cables from accidental disconnection or damage.
MPX 250 DC

MPX 250 DC (Direct Connect) is an expansion unit designed to connect up to four MPX 250 devices, enabling system scalability to a maximum of 16 USB ports within a single configuration, supporting larger and more complex systems. The total number of available USB ports depends on the system topology.
MPX 250 EXT

MPX 250 EXT (Extension) is an expansion module for MPX 250 units, designed for setups where room displays and A/V peripherals are located far from the primary device.
MPX 250 Link 30

An active USB-C reinforced cable utilizing optical technology. Its 30 ft (10 m) length enables reliable long-distance connection between the MPX 250 EXT and the main MPX 250 unit.
Note that the cable is unidirectional: connect the locking-screw end to the MPX 250 "Ext Out" and the other end to MPX 250 EXT "Ext In":
- Secure End with M2 locking screw: Connects to the MPX 250 "Ext Out" USB-C port (EXT Out/DP/UC/AV)
- Pull End with pull cable attachment point: Connects to the Link 30 Electronic Module [3]
- Link Electronic Module: Connects to the Pull End of the Link 30 cable [2]
- USB-C Connector End: Connects to the MPX 250 EXT "Ext In" USB-C port

For a complete overview of supported configurations, refer to Architecture options for the MPX250

Management
Management Console
The unit configuration and overall management are performed via the EasyConnect Management Console (EMC), a free software application available for Windows and MacOS. A connection via USB is required, as the MPX 250 cannot be configured over the network.
How to proceed:
- Install and launch the EasyConnect Management Console on your laptop.
- Press and hold any touch button on the Table Controller for 5 seconds.
- When a white light appears on the controller, connect the USB-C cable to your laptop.

When connected, the main interface for the EMC will show, offering the possibility to configure the unit according to your needs.

Resetting a Unit
An MPX 250 or MPX 250 DC unit can be restored to factory default settings using the following procedure:
-
Disconnect the power cable from the unit.
-
Press and hold the Input Select button located on the back of the hub.
-
While holding the button, reconnect the power cable.
-
Continue to hold the button for approximately 10 seconds.
