New Features: 

  • A Welcome screen is added with links to relevant resources 
  • Pre-installed Project templates added as example systems  
  • In add speaker dialog Applications are moved to a side option 
  • Add speaker dialog retains selections and configuration through navigation and re-enter 
  • Speaker, Group, Amplifier and Source blocks can be copy and pasted to quickly build a system in the work area 
  • Added support for Copy-Paste text in edit boxes within the application. 
  • Save as enabled on factory speaker profiles, custom variants of open parameters can be adjusted and profile saved to User-defined folder

  • Load from device properly validates firmware compatibility for the device hosting the system before load  
  • Amplifier blocks and labels are properly indicating all matched amplifiers channels also for multiway speakers

  • Maximum number of speakers in a project is increased to 256

Known Issues: 

  • This version of VenueTune is compatible with Tesira Firmware from v5.6 up to, but not including, v5.7.

Known Issues

  • VenueTune v1.2.0 cannot start after VenueTune 2.0 was installed 
  • Sometimes VenueTune fails to relink an amplifier after changing from Converged to Redundant Port Mode with static IP 
  • Save Dialog is sometimes not shown when switching offline after initial Save action 
  • Amplifier Configuration panel incorrectly displayed in Redundant Dante Port Mode 
  • Loudspeaker limiter incorrectly enables Thermal Shaping when ByPassAll is set to true in .tsp file 
  • Pressing F1 while on the FW Update window opens the last accessed phase in the Help page instead of the correct help section. 
  • Linking of amplifier blocks fails when locate is active 
  • The Speaker name is obstructed by the underline if the name is longer than 8 characters 
    • A long Amplifier name can cause the block to be drawn incorrectly

Resolved Software Issues:

  • Resolved issue where Custom Loudspeaker Profiles were not stored in the active user’s Documents folder.
  • Resolved issue where the value of Design > Speakers > Parallel would be retained when changing speaker Design > Speakers > Mode rather than reverting to the default value of 1.
  • Resolved issue where dynamic channel power shading persisted when all channels of an amplifier were matched to speakers.
  • Resolved issue where the value of Design > Speakers > Mode would not be retained when navigating away and back again.
  • Resolved issue where the value of Deploy > Configuration > Speaker > Status would often be incorrect.
  • Resolved issue where blocks could become hidden outside the workspace if moved while more than one selected.
  • Resolved issue where no warning was given when adjusting gain or delay from a group block and one of the child Speakers has reached its maximum.
  • Resolved issue where closing the application could occasionally leave it in a state where it would not open correctly next time.
  • Resolved issue in Design > Match where deselecting by double-clicking on the selected amplifier or clicking on empty space on the workspace does not work.
  • Resolved issue on Deploy > Solo where Mutes set during Solo are not reliably cleared on the linked amplifier when navigating away from Solo.
  • Resolved issue where amplifier would fail to be detected after disconnecting and reconnecting control network port, or powering amplifier off and back on.
  • Resolved issue where EQ Bandwidth adjustment handles were difficult to select.

 Known Issues:

  • Fader value will jump slightly from current value before tracking to the new value at the start of a fader adjustment.
  • The Dante input indicator continues to show as Analog after connecting Dante to all channels using Dante Controller.
  • After zooming or panning the workspace, the snap grid becomes inconsistent, making it difficult to re-align blocks if subsequently moved.
  • RAM utilization can be high in some conditions.

Resolved Software Issues:

  • Resolved issue where output mute state was incorrect and unresponsive after linking.
  • Resolved issue where a fault message was not cleared in Health section of the Configuration panel or Status section on Control bar.
  • Resolved issue when an invalid subnet mask was entered in the Subnet Mask field of an IP Address and no error was displayed.
  • Resolved issue where incorrect LED color displayed on amplifier and speaker blocks after successful linking.
  • Resolved issue where a blank name can be entered for groups, speakers, and amplifiers in its Configuration panel.
  • Resolved issue where a group name could be more than 32 characters in Group configuration.
  • Resolved issue where the group name on the Group block is displayed in full instead of being truncated.
  • Resolved issue where the Dynamic Power Shading value is displayed with excessive decimal places when it is less than 1.
  • Resolved issue where new Group block could not be placed in the location of a previous deleted group.
  • Resolved issue where after matching, the Power Shading value on Amplifier block is different to the Speaker block.
  • Resolved issue where an error message is displayed preventing the adjustment of the gain to any new value.
  • Resolved issue where double click was required to open contextual button dropdowns menus.
  • Resolved issue where importing an unsupported image format shows no warning message.
  • Resolved issue where after pressing enter once or twice, the contextual button gets a red counter, the entered IP address is cleared, and "Set IP address" is displayed again.
  • Resolved issue where Optimize Phase Settings not sent to the amplifier when matching a speaker while online.
  • Resolved issue where display issues at manufacturer-recommended scaling settings.

Known Issues:

  •  New Project File format prevents project files from VenueTune 1.0.0 from being opened.  Project files will need to be re-created in 1.1.0.
  • The amplifier remains selected and cannot be deselected by double-clicking or clicking on empty space in the Match action.
  • Pressing F1 while using any drop-down feature opens the last accessed phase in the Help page instead of the correct help section.
