How to save a custom device from an existing project
If you have a custom device in a project, and you want to save that device to your library, follow these easy steps.
- Open the project in Project Designer, and in system view, click the device (1) and press edit (2).
- This will open the Device Editor and show the configuration of the device.
- Click the File tab and select Save as. Then verify that the save location is correct.
If you use the Personal device path location for saving (specified under the File tab in Project Designer), the device will be added to your library.
