Why does my feedback programming only work the first time?

For starters, please read this article that goes through the basics of feedback implementation in device drivers. When you experience that a feedback reply only works the first time after a reboot, then it is because you have only made one possible state in a feedback reply like below:


An Impera Control System reacts to state changes, and if there is only one state, it only changes to that one time and never goes away again until the system is rebooted.
In order to avoid this, always make sure that the device can change between multiple states in a single feedback reply like you see in the example below:
