Inviting Individual New Users and Modifying Invitations
New users are added by sending an invitation that includes an assigned role in the organization.
Inviting new users
1. Click on the Users people icon in the left-hand pane of Biamp Workplace, then open any of the Users Page. Each of these sub-pages contains an instance of the Invite user button.
2. Click on the Invite user button in the bottom right corner of any of the three Users sub-page (Active, Invited, Requests).
3. Fill out the Invite user form, then select the Invite user button on the bottom left side of the form to send the invitation.
- Add the invitee's email address in the Email field.
- Chose a role from the the dropdown Role field.
- Org Admin
- Owner
- User
- Select the Invite user button when complete.
The use will then appear on the Invited users list of the Invited users page.
The Invited users list
Duration: After invitation has been set, the invitee has 6 days to accept.
Statuses: All invited users will be assigned with a status.
- Accepted
- Declined
- Expired
- Pending
Responses: Users can accept or decline the invitation.
Expiration: Invitations that are not accepted or declined within 6 days will expire. A new invitation must be sent out if the user wants to join the organization.
Searches and filters: The Invited users can be used searched using the Search field on the page. The list can be filtered to show users by status type.
Edit an existing invitation
You can edit the email address and change the assigned role of an active invitation.
1. Select the Invited page under the Users section of the left-most pane in Biamp Workplace.
2. Select the small, pencil-shaped Edit icon on the far right in the Invitation's row.
3. Make edits and changes, then select the Save button at the bottom right of the form.
