Read This First: System Requirements

This article provides a brief overview of the Evoko Home server as well as system requirements and a list of supported booking systems.

The Home server manages the Liso room-booking panels installed outside meeting rooms. It connects Liso devices to the booking system and synchronizes the Liso and the Room Mailbox in the booking system.

Evoko Home Server can be installed as a service in the company network on-premise or in the cloud. The latter enables features such as user management, statistics, and remote management of the Evoko Liso devices.

System Architecture

Liso Architecture

  • The Evoko Home Server communicates with Evoko Liso devices via HTTPS over a configurable port (default 3002).
  • The Evoko Home Server Web Application communicates with the Evoko Home Server using a configurable HTTP port during initial setup to configure SSL certificates (default 3000). After SSL has been configured, all communication uses HTTPS on the port configured during the initial setup (default 3002).
  • The Evoko Home Server communicates with the booking system using either HTTP (80) or HTTPS (443).
  • The system uses configurable NTP servers using UDP over port 123 to synchronize time and date.

System Requirements

  • A server running Windows Server 2016 (or later) or Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (or 22.04 LTS).
  • A static IPv4 address (Evoko Liso units will point to this IP).
  • Accessible application ports over HTTP (default port 3000 TCP), SNMP (port 3001), and HTTPS (port 3002).
  • Access to booking system (e.g., Office 365) over HTTP (port 80) or HTTPS (port 443).
  • Access to NTP server over NTP (port 123 UDP).

Supported Booking Systems

  • Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
  • Microsoft Exchange 2019
  • Microsoft Exchange 2016
  • Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
  • IBM Domino
