Liso Workplace Migration Tool User Guide

Migrating from Evoko Home

Use Path A to migrate deployed Liso panels from an existing Evoko Home installation to Biamp Workplace. Selecting this Path in the Tool reads the locations and Liso panels on an Evoko Home server and recreates them in Biamp Workplace. This procedure can migrate multiple Liso panels if they are assigned to the same Evoko Home server.

Starting from Biamp Workplace

Use Path B to assign a new Liso panel or a deployed Liso panel operating without an Evoko Home installation to existing Biamp Workplace room locations. This procedure migrates one panel at a time.

Path conclusion

Both paths conclude with building a USB drive that provisions the migrated panels. Inserting the USB into a panel and powering the panel on activates the device in Biamp Workplace.

Required for both paths

• A Biamp Workplace account with Admin or Owner rights in the organization the Liso panels will be added to.
• An empty USB drive, 1 GB or larger.
• A computer to run the Liso Migration Tool on (Windows or macOS).

Path A requirements - Migrating from Evoko Home

• The server address of the Evoko Home installation that the Liso panels are migrating from.
• Admin credentials in the Evoko Home installation.

Path B requirements - Starting from Biamp Workplace

• Existing room locations set up in Biamp Workplace.
  • The Migration Tool does not create Workplace locations, it only reads existing Workplace rooms. The migration procedure will fail if the room locations are not set up in the organization prior to attempting to migrate a Liso panel.

• The serial number of each Evoko Liso Room Manager panel to be provisioned in Biamp Workplace.
  • The serial number is printed on the device information label found on the back of the Liso panel.
