Rooms: Monitoring

This article describes the Monitoring section of the Rooms page on Evoko Home. The Monitoring section is only visible to Admin users.

 

Filtering rooms by location

Clicking on the "All Countries" drop-down menu allows you to filter the Rooms list by Country, City, Building, and Floor.

You can clear the filter by selecting "All Floors," "All Buildings," "All Cities," or "All Countries."

 

 

Device Status Overview 

The Overview section shows how many devices match the current location filter, as well as their status.

  • Online: the Liso is turned on and connected to Evoko Home
  • Offline: Evoko Home is unable to communicate with the Liso
  • Sleeping: the Liso is connected but sleeping in accordance with its sleep and wake up settings
  • Unassigned Devices: the Liso is connected but has not been assigned to a specific Room
  • Rooms w/o Device: a Room is present in the booking system but does not have a Liso assigned to it
  • Ready for Upgrade: the Liso's firmware is not the latest version available

You can click on a status to filter the Rooms list to only show devices matching that status.

 

 

Logs

Click the Logs button to show the most recent entries in the Evoko Home logs file.

 

 

Firmware check

Click the Firmware Check button to download the latest Liso firmware from Evoko.

 

 

The Rooms list

Click the 🔍︎ Room Name icon to filter the Rooms list to a specific room.

Default list info

The Rooms list provides the following information:

  • Country, City, Building, Floor: the location of the Room
  • Room Name: the name of the Room
  • Active: whether the Room is considered part of the booking system

Context information

The remaining columns show "N/A" unless one or more Lisos are assigned to a given Room.

  • Status: the current status of the Liso; see Device Status Overview
  • Firmware: the currently-running firmware version on the Liso
    • Clicking the 🔁︎ Update button will update the Liso if a firmware update has been downloaded
  • MAC address and IP address: the physical and logical network address of the Liso
  • Last reboot time: the last time at which the Liso was rebooted
    • Clicking the Power Button icon will reboot the Liso
  • Issues: the number of currently-reported issues with the equipment in the Room

 

 

The Room Details screen

Clicking on the name of a Room in the Rooms list will provide additional room and device details.

Details tab

The Details tab lists the status of all equipment in the Room:

  • Green: no issues have been reported with this equipment
  • Red: an issue has been reported with this equipment
    • Clicking the Resolve button will clear the reported issue
  • Grey: the equipment is not marked as present in the Room

Device tab

The Device tab provides information on Liso panels in a room as well as device management functions such as upgrading and rebooting Liso panels.  

Liso information

The Device tab displays information about the Liso assigned to the Room:

  • MAC and IP address: the physical and logical network address of the Liso
  • Firmware: the currently-running firmware version on the Liso, and whether an upgrade is available
  • Serial number: the serial number of the Liso
  • Last reboot (UTC): the last time at which the Liso was rebooted
  • Last connection (UTC): the last time at which Evoko Home established a connection with the Liso
  • Interface: whether the Liso is connected via Ethernet or wi-fi
  • Status: the current status of the Liso; see Device Status Overview
  • Pairing key: whether the pairing key used by the Liso was authenticated with Evoko Home
  • Log files; see Evoko Liso logs

Management functions

Several functions are also available from the Info section:

  • Upgrade device: upgrade the Liso device's firmware, if an upgrade is available
  • Reboot device: reboot the Liso
  • Activate VNC: enable Virtual Network Computing to remotely control the Liso
    • This allows the Liso to be remotely controlled using a VNC client such as VNC Viewer
    • Disconnecting the VNC client will deactivate VNC on the Liso automatically
  • Delete device: unassign the Liso from the Room (only available if the Liso is offline)

If 802.1x authentication is enabled, you can also authenticate the Liso from this section.

Meetings tab

The Meetings tab lists all meetings booked for the Room. You can filter the list to the current day or the last 7 days, and export the list to a CSV. The Meetings List lists the Meetings Subject and Organizer of each meeting, or "Booked on screen" if the meeting was booked directly from the Liso.
