What to do if the Wi-Fi SSID is not visible
If a MAX Connect SSID does not show in the list of available Wi-Fi networks, a simple setting change can resolve this.
Connect MAX to a wired network with DHCP enabled. The "Internal" tab on the room display Welcome Screen will show the assigned IP address (reboot MAX if the IP is not showing). Access the Web Administration Console from a web browser by going to:
https://<IP-ADDRESS>/settings
No username is needed, the default password is the device 8-digits serial number.
Navigate to the Network - Wireless page, find and enable the Broadcast SSID setting as shown here:
Click Apply and wait for the unit to reboot.
It is recommended to change the Admin password when setting up MAX Connect, to prevent unwanted access to the unit and network configuration.
