VA8600 Device ID "FF"
This article describes when Vocia devices (specifically amplifiers) show in Vocia Device Discovery with Device ID "FF".
What does "FF" mean
If you set a Vocia Device ID to "00", reboot, and discovery, it will show up as ID "FF". This happens when the dials have no selection made or when the selection dial is unplugged.
Possible solution
First, Try flashing firmware to the unit. Pull power, reset the Device ID, and reapply power.
If the issue remains, open the top and review the ribbon cable connection. It will likely be unplugged. Connect and test.
