Impera PIN Protected Page Flips

This article explains how to set up and apply the new PIN-protected page flips in Project Designer 1.39 and later versions.

Set up the PIN

To add a PIN code to pages in your Impera project:

  1. Select the System tab and then click on the controller block in your system.

  2. In the Properties pane for the controller on the right of the screen, locate the "Page Protection" section. Expand this section if it is not already open.

  3. Check the button box for "Use PIN code".

  4. Enter a 6-digit numerical code of your choosing in the "Page PIN" field.

Apply the PIN requirement to pages in your system

  1. Once you have enabled Page Protection on the System tab, select the Interface tab.

  2. On the Interfaces pane on the left side of the screen, click on the page you wish to secure with the PIN code.

At this point, there are two methods for enabling the PIN code on that page.

Method 1

  • Right-click on the page name and select "Lock Page".

Home Pages

The "Home Page" cannot be secured with a PIN Code. You must create a new page and put the buttons or sliders that need to be secured on that new page.
