Connecting Evoko Home: Exchange on-premise (Exchange SE)

This article provides guidance on how to establish a connection between Evoko Home and your Exchange on-premises environment.

Important: Before proceeding with the steps outlined below, please ensure that the Booking System preparation for Exchange on-premises has been fully completed. This is a prerequisite for a successful connection.

Procedure to Connect Evoko Home with Exchange On-Premises

To integrate Evoko Home with your Exchange On-Premises (Exchange SE) environment, please follow the steps outlined in the Evoko Home Web Wizard:

  1. Select your booking system, then click Next to proceed.

  2. Enter the required credentials, including:

    • The service account email (e.g., service-account@domain.com) with Application Impersonation permissions.
    • Your Exchange server’s EWS URL (e.g., https://exchangeserver.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx).
    • The administrator email (e.g., admin@domain.com).

    Click Log In to continue.

  3. Specify the HTTPS application port you wish to use (default: 3002).

    • Optional: You may upload your own SSL/TLS certificate at this stage. Please note that this must be done from localhost, not a remote host. After uploading the certificate, click Next.
    • If no certificate is uploaded, a self-signed certificate will be automatically generated and used.
  4. Enter an NTP server (e.g., pool.ntp.org) accessible to both the Evoko Home server and Evoko Liso units. Click Next to proceed.

  5. Review and accept the End User License Agreement (EULA) to continue. Click Accept.

  6. Important: After the instance is generated, you will be presented with login credentials. Please record these credentials immediately, as they will only be displayed once. The password is randomly generated and can be changed later.

Click Finish to complete the setup.
