Step 5: Basic Evoko Home Setup

Overview

This procedure walks you through setting up a Global Organization in Evoko Home. An organization is a system of booking devices organized by locations, buildings, floors, and rooms.

A set of three tables is provided at the end of this article to describe the types of settings available in an organization.

 

 

Set Up Your Global Organization

Use the video or text procedure instructions here as best suits you. 

 

 

1. Sign into Evoko Home using the credentials provided to in the Set Up Wizard at the end of Step 4: Connect Booking System to Evoko Home.

• These are the credentials you instructed to record in Step 6 of the "Connect Evoko Home to Exchange 2016, 2019" section.

 

2. Skip editing the Global Settings.

• During your first sign-in, you are given the option to set up Global Organization settings. These settings can be set later.

• For now we are going to skip them by pressing the Next button at the top right side of the screen.

 

 

3. Skip setting the default room settings.

• These are settings that will be automatically applied for all new imported rooms are imported. They can be changed later under Room Settings. 
• For now, we will keep these default settings and by pressing Next.

  

 

4.  Adding your Country, City, Building and Floors to your Organization.  Press Add after entering the information.

• You will add rooms in a subsquent step.

  

 

5. Optional: Add additional locations (Country, city, and buildings) if you have them. Additional locations be added later as well as adding more buildings or floors to those that you just created.   

 

6. Enter the email address of a room in the booking sytem in the  Enter address to add single room field in the left pane.

•  Addresses can be found in Microsoft Entra Admin Center. 

 

7. Press Add Room after the Add Room button turns green.

 

8. Press OK after system acknowledges the successful addition of a room. 

 

Congratulations! The added room should how in the left pane of the Evoko Home window. 

 

9. Add your room to a building: Select and drag the room to the correct Floor and / or Location where it belongs. 

• In the image below we moved The Compound to Floor 1. 

 

10. Add locations and rooms as necessary. When complete press the Done for Now button.  

 

Congratulations! You will now see the rooms you added to locations listed here.
