How do I use the Overview Screen Function?

The overview screen is a great way to show Desk/Room Availability as well as location of the Desks/Rooms on a floor-plan in a common space. You need a display that has a built in URL browser to use the Overview Screen correctly.

This article walks you through the steps to get the Overview Screen up and running.

Add Screen using Tile View

Navigate to the Overview Screen section in the left hand column of the Evoko Workplace.
Find the Add Screen option in the top right hand corner.
Enter a Screen Name and Welcome Message if you choose. You can also opt to hide the data/time and Evoko logo. Depending on the Display Setting you choose (Either Floor-plan or Tiles) you will be presented with different options. We will continue with the Tiles option.
Scroll down to how many columns you will use to display your tiles. In this exercise we will use 2 columns.
Select the + Add Tile Option
In this exercise we will add Rooms to this overview screen. Select the Type, Room, and Direction of Arrow. You can also opt to hide the booking information if you would like for sensitive rooms. Press Add when finished.
Repeat the process above until all desired rooms are added to your screen. In the image below we added [5] additional rooms to the Overview Screen for a total of [6] rooms..
Press Save when done.
You should now see your newly created Overview Screen in the list of Overview Screens.
Repeat the steps above if you would like to make additional screens using the tile method.

Add Screen using Floor Plan View

Navigate to the Overview Screen section in the left hand column of the Evoko Workplace.
Find the Add Screen option in the top right hand corner.
Enter a Screen Name and Welcome Message if you choose. You can also opt to hide the data/time and Evoko logo. Depending on the Display Setting you choose (Either Floor-plan or Tiles) you will be presented with different options. We will continue with the Floorplan option. This will present with the option to select which floorplan you want to use. Select your location and press Save.
You should now see the additional Overview Screen added to your list.
Repeat the steps above if you would like to make additional screens using the floorplan method.

Activate a Screen

After Adding a Screen you can then activate it. Find the Activate Screen option located in the top right hand corner of the Overview Screen.
To activate an Overview Screen you will need to navigate to this URL: workplace.biamp.app/overview/activate on the Display Showing your Overview Screen.
When you navigate to the link above you will presented with a code.
Copy the Code back to the Activation Screen in the Evoko Workplace. Press Next.
Select which screen layout you would like representing on your Overview Screen. In this exercise we will use Lobby Overview Screen. Press Activate.
You should now see the URL on your Display active with the desired Overview Screen.

Repeat the above steps on any other displays you want to use with the Overview Screen.
