Differences in FORTÉ VT and FORTÉ X input blocks
The rack mount FORTÉ VT models and the FORTÉ X models have similar I/O blocks. However, a file programmed for a VT will not work with an X unit and vice versa due to some key differences.
A comparison example
In this example we are comparing a VT4 am X400. This can also be applied to the VT, X800, and X1600.
- The VT4 has a 4-channel AEC input block while the FORTÉ X has two inputs.
- VT4 units have 4 outputs where the X units have 2
- VT4 units have 2 VoIP lines while the X units have a single line.
