How to fix small text in Vocia software
Many modern laptops feature ultra-high resolution screens, capable of displaying 3840 x 2160 pixels in a portable form-factor. To maintain readability, the operating system and applications will compensate for the increased resolution by enlarging text and other screen elements to fill more dots per inch (DPI). In some cases, Windows will incorrectly display the Vocia software at its native resolution rather than enlarging it. This article explains how to enforce Windows DPI scaling in the Vocia software so that text and other screen elements are still readable.
Enable high DPI scaling for Vocia
- Close the Vocia software if it is running.
- Right-click the Vocia icon on the Desktop and click Properties.
- Click the Compatibility tab, then click Change high DPI settings.
- Under "Program DPI," check Use this setting to fix scaling problems for this program instead of the one in Settings.
- Under "High DPI scaling override," check Override high DPI scaling behavior.
- In the "Scaling performed by" drop-down, select System.
- Click OK in the "High DPI Settings for Vocia.exe" window, then Apply and OK in the "Properties" window.
- Relaunch the Vocia software.
