The "500 Internal Server Error" is a generic error message with multiple potential causes.

Confirm the Username and Password are correct.

If that does not resolve the issue, a detailed description of the problem may be available found under the Session Initiation Protocol > Message Header section.

If Message Header does not provide a cause for the error, you may need to contact the Proxy technical person or manufacturer support.

Other settings to check:

  • Verify and if necessary change the transport type on the Biamp VoIP endpoint.
  • Some vendors support "Both" for the Transport type. Biamp VoIP endpoints must be set to a single option to work (UDP, TCP, or TLS).
