Conferencing Bar is Unresponsive to Factory Reset
Most bar issues can be resolved by performing the standard factory reset. This is done by pushing and holding the launch button for 15-30 seconds. If the bar is unresponsive to the standard reset, the Solution Steps listed below may help to resolve the issue.
Problem Behavior
A few issues that may be resolved by a factory reset procedure include:
- The bar is in a rebooting state.
- Only the Camera portion of the bar is enumerating.
- Firmware update is failing, or Biamp Camera Controller is requesting the incorrect file type.
- Launch is persistently failing in a known good environment.
- The standard factory reset is not working.
Solution Steps
Perform an advanced factory reset using this procedure:
- Disconnect the bar USB cable from any PC.
- Unplug the bar PSU for at least 30 seconds. The green LED on the back should be off.
- Plug the PSU.
- Wait at least 30 seconds for a complete boot.
- Press the Launch button for 30 seconds.
- Wait a minute or two for the procedure to complete, until the LEDs are flashing slowly.
- Perform Launch
