Device registration

By default, you need to start a timer when connecting a Liso to Evoko Home. The default duration is 20 minutes. Click Start Registration to start the timer.

You can also enable Pairing Key Authentication and set a Pairing Key. You will need to enter this key into the Liso during the registration process. If Pairing Key Authentication is enabled, you do not need to start the registration timer unless the Liso is running firmware v2.5 or older.

Authentication

  • Authentication: Sets whether a user can authenticate on a Liso using a PIN or an RFID tag
  • RFID Enrollment
    • Auto: a user can present their RFID to a Liso and enter their PIN to associate the RFID with their Evoko Home user account
    • Admin: a Global Admin must enter the user's RFID
    • Requested: a user can present their RFID to a Liso and enter their PIN, but a Global Admin must then approve the RFID request
    • Time delay 15 minutes
  • Invite Authenticated User: if room booking requires authentication, this will send a calendar invite to the user who created the booking
  • Authentication 802.1x
  • Log Level
    • Error
    • Warning
    • Info
    • Debug
  • Minimum password length: the minimum password length can be set between 8 and 64 characters
  • PIN length: the PIN length can be set between 3 and 9 digits
  • Proximity: whether the proximity sensor on the Liso is enabled
  • Legacy API Authentication
  • Enable strict TLS on Liso
  • User inactivity timeout: how long a user can spend inactive (not interacting with Evoko Home) before they are logged out automatically

Weekly restart

The service needs a maintenance window of one minute a week. Please select the time that disturbs operations the least. You do not need to enable this setting if you manually restart your server each week.

Evoko Booking

This setting allows users with User privileges to access the Evoko Booking page.

Service account

This section allows you to update the settings for the service account registered with Evoko Home. Note that it is not possible to migrate from one service account type to another (e.g., Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace) without resetting the Evoko Home service.

If Evoko Home is configured with a Microsoft 365 booking system using OAuth, see this document on API Migration.

Internet Access

Evoko Home requires an internet connection for firmware downloads and connecting to supported booking services. This connection can be direct or via proxy. A proxy connection requires the IP/FQDN address and port of the proxy, along with a valid username and password.

Default API Token

The Evoko Home software provides a pre-generated API user and password token. More information is available in the Evoko Home API documentation.

The API token is also used when setting up the Evoko Overview Screen.

Synchronization intervals

These settings determine how often Evoko Home should sync current and future meetings.

MS Graph Subscriptions can also be enabled.

Email Notifications

These settings determine whether Evoko Home will email users when their accounts are added, updated, or deleted.

Emails about unexpected device behavior can also be sent to a recipient email.

External users

Evoko Home supports adding users outside of the organization. External users can be granted or denied that permission on a per-room basis from the Room Settings if authentication is required to book or modify bookings directly from the Liso panel.

SNMP Service

These settings determine whether the SNMP service is enabled, and on what port.

Security

Type a comma-separated list of Frame Ancestor URLs to allow embedding Evoko Home in the iFrame.

Backup

This section allows you to back up the Evoko Home Service settings. If the Evoko Home Service is reset, you can restore these settings.

An encryption secret is required. You will be prompted for this encryption secret when restoring the backup.

If a backup has been created, Evoko Home will provide a link. You can click this link to save the file to a safe location.

Evoko Home Service

This section allows you to reset the Evoko Home Service back to its initial settings.

After confirming, you will be provided with a PIN code. Make note of this PIN code. When the Evoko Home Service is reset, every Liso will have its network settings cleared and will cease to sync with Evoko Home. This PIN code is required to access the Liso's Administration screen and reconnect it to the service.

Add custom equipment

This section allows you to add custom equipment for Rooms.

You can add up to 5 custom equipment. This custom equipment list is global to the entire organization.

Default Local Settings

Click Edit Default Settings to edit the default settings for newly-imported rooms.

These settings are explained in detail in the Add Room section of the Rooms Settings page.

Changing these settings will not affect rooms that have already been imported.

Tooltips

You can toggle whether hovering the mouse cursor over certain text and icons in Evoko Home displays a tooltip.
