  • A Server class device will no longer report "Unable to communicate with IO card in slot 1 (or 13)" if the network suffers a broadcast storm. Once the network settles, the NIC will recover automatically.
  • Fixed an issue that could result in the analog telephone interface on STC-2v2 card or TesiraFORTÉ VT units to dial too quickly if "Wait for dial tone" was disabled by the user.

3.7.0

Released September 2018

Software Download Link:

New Features:
  • Added HDCP support for TesiraLUX.
  • Added support for Tesira EX-UBT.
  • Biamp Tesira USB audio driver now available to download from Help > Check for Updates within the Tesira software. This driver provides for greater than 2x2 channels of USB audio in TesiraFORTÉ (up to 8 total channels), as well as 8x8 multichannel USB audio in the EX-UBT, when connected to a Windows 7 or Windows 10 host computer.
Updates:
  • Improved AEC NLP performance.
  • Changed the layout of the OLED home screen for TesiraFORTÉ, TesiraLUX, and Tesira Amplifier devices to be consistent with the TesiraSERVER and TesiraSERVER-IO devices by moving the navigation icons from the right to the bottom.
  • Updated the Settings icon to be a gear instead of a wrench on Tesira device OLED displays.
  • Added an icon to the TesiraLUX OLED display to indicate whether HDCP is enabled.
Resolved software issues:
  • Fixed an issue introduced in 3.6 where opening a configuration file from its icon launches the Tesira software, but does not open the file.
  • Fixed an issue where the main software window might not appear on the current screen when software is launched if it was previously positioned off-screen.
  • Fixed an issue where links between AEC blocks become disconnected following an Undo and Redo operation.
  • Fixed an issue where using <TAB> within the Event Logs dialog caused the focus to get stuck within the System List grid.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause Tesira software to crash when creating a preset for a TCM-1 and changing the "Mute mics as a group" setting.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause Tesira software to crash if entering an invalid channel number in the "Show Channel" DSP property.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause Tesira software to crash when moving Logic Partition Connectors to the front.
  • Fixed an issue in Application Settings > Device List where entering an invalid Host Name or IP Address prevented buttons from being clicked.
  • Fixed preset behavior for TCM-1/TCM-1A blocks where "Mute As a Group" setting has been enabled that was causing only Channel 1 to be used for determining the mute state of the group.
  • Revised context menus to ensure their UI themes are consistent with the UI of Tesira software.
  • Revised the tabbing order of UI elements for improved consistency.
  • Repositioned "OK" and "Cancel" buttons in Equipment Table dialog to ensure they do not become hidden when dialog size is reduced.

  • Resolved an issue preventing Tesira VoIP from registering with Microsoft Lync 2013/SFB 2015.
  • Fixed an issue by changing the authentication status report to "Not Configured" instead of "Not Authenticated" when disabling 802.1x mode on the control port.
  • Fixed a bug preventing expander discovery after switching from converged AVB and control networks to separated AVB and control networks.
Known issues:
  • USB audio may become disabled if the USB cable into the EX-UBT is plugged and unplugged quickly and repeatedly. A reboot of the EX-UBT will clear the issue. This behavior is not expected to affect normal usage of the interface. This issue will be resolved in the next firmware update.
  • When using per-channel AEC referencing for an EX-AEC or an EX-MOD with EEC-4 cards, any signal sent to the first channel of the AEC Reference block will propagate to all channels on that block, and signals sent to channels other than the first channel will be ignored. The workaround for this issue is to use individual single-channel AEC Reference blocks for each AEC reference channel.
